FOREST VIEW HIGH SCHOOL

Forest View High School was a high school located in southern Arlington Heights, Illinois, that opened in 1962 and closed twenty-four years later in 1986.  High School District 214 enrollment in 1962 was 6,323. The school was the third high school built for Township High School District 214, and was the second high school to close, after Arlington High School closed first in 1984. Enrollment in 1984 was 13,742, about the same as the enrollment in 1968 (13,520).  Enrollment in District 214 in 1986 was 12,447.

The school mascot was Ferdie the Falcon, and the school colors were silver, black, and gold.
